Commitment to Patients
Each and every day I wake up and come to work knowing that my profession carries with it the utmost responsibility and reward. When patients entrust to me their health and happiness, nothing motivates me more than knowing that I can help to provide them newfound feelings of confidence and self-esteem in crafting their smile. Earning my patients’ trust and confidence with their care is something I’ve never taken for granted, so I work as hard as I can to ensure them the best and most advanced orthodontic care available.
I completed my Bachelor of Science degree at Brigham Young University and then continued on to receive my Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1993. Later, in 2003, I received my Master of Science in Orthodontics from Loma Linda University.
Continuing Education and Professional Affiliations
Because the field of orthodontics is ever-evolving, I place the highest premium on continuing my education. In order to provide my patients the most technologically advanced treatment orthodontics can offer, I hold membership in a number of professional organizations that allows me to attend continuing education courses several times a year. My professional affiliations include:
- American Dental Association
- American Association of Orthodontists
- Oregon Dental Association
- Rogue Valley Dental Association, Past President
I am a long-time resident of Grants Pass, so it gives me much pleasure to be able to give back to the community I have called home for so long. My wife, Kelly, and I have been blessed with a large family. Our five little girls, Jenna, Allison, Lauren, Caroline, and Sarah, are the lights of our lives, and they bring us so much joy each and every day. At home, we also have a yellow Labrador Retriever named Buddy and a ragdoll cat named Mittens. When I’m not at work, I enjoy golfing, bowling, pitching a few baseballs, taking my wife out on dates, and playing with my girls.
